Ben Walton

Ben Walton is named after his uncle Benjamin. He is the industrious entrepreneur of the family. He is always itching to break out on his own and make his mark. He has delivered magazines door to door. He helped John-Boy publish the Blue Ridge Chronicle (Actor Eric Scott has admitted that this was the best way to get more screen time). He has sold used cars and although he was regularly involved with his father's mill he worked for a competing lumber company when not seeing eye to eye with his father. Other jobs and business ideas include selling seedlings, furs, & molasses and he worked for a short spell in a Norfolk factory.
